Tyler Young commits to Merrimack
Tyler Young, a 2001-born forward currently playing for the Maryland Black Bears in the NAHL, has committed to Merrimack for the 2022-23 season.
Young, who is the son of longtime NHL’er Scott Young, has nine points (2 goals, 7 assists) in 10 games for the Black Bears this season. He has split the last two seasons between the USHL, NCDC, and now NAHL.
Prior to his junior hockey career, Young was a standout scorer for Lawrence Academy, where he finished with 39 points in 28 games his senior season.
