Uens' plus-7 rating believed to be NCAA record
In Sunday’s 7-1 win over Brown, Merrimack defenseman Zach Uens finished with a plus-7 rating. After a lot of research last night and this morning, it’s believed that Uens’ plus-7 game ties an NCAA record set by former Union defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere, who was a plus-7 in the 2014 NCAA Championship game against Minnesota; Union won that game, 7-4.
