Venuto named Merrimack's captain, Roy, Young, Hillier alternate captains

Antonio Venuto will captain the Merrimack men's hockey team this season. Mark Hillier, Harrison Roy, and Tyler Young will be alternate captains.

Venuto is a fifth-year senior from Ferris State. He joined the Warriors after a 26-point season with the Bulldogs.

Roy, another fifth-year senior, was one of Lake Superior's captains last season. A Massachusetts native, he previously played at Boston College.

Young will wear an "A" as a junior. He missed a chunk of last season with an injury.

Hillier will miss the first several months of this season with a lower-body injury. He could return later in the year, or he'd have the option to use the season as a medical redshirt if he cannot make it back into the lineup.
