Warriors Picked Seventh in Preseason MAAC Poll

The MAAC held its annual Tipoff event and media day on Tuesday at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City.

As part of the event, the MAAC Preseason Coaches’ Polls was announced. Merrimack was picked to finish seventh in the conference.

9. Mount St. Mary’s

The Warriors did not have a single representative on the All-MAAC Preseason First, Second, or Third teams. Quinnipiac forward Amarri Monroe was the Preseason Player of the Year.

Merrimack finished second in the MAAC last season and fell to No. 6 Mount St. Mary’s in the conference semifinals. Mount went on to win the MAAC championship and lost to Duke in the first round.
