Weekend Preview: Warriors welcome UConn to Lawler for the first end of a home-and-home Friday night

Merrimack opens a home-and-home series with UConn on Friday night at Lawler Arena. The Warriors dropped a 5-1 game to the Huskies last month, but that included a pair of empty-net goals.

UConn is coming off a loss against New Hampshire on Nov. 22 and a tie against Stonehill on Nov. 25. They might still be without one of their top scorers, Joey Muldowney, who didn’t play against Stonehill, and UConn coach Mike Cavanaugh said was “50/50” to play this weekend.
