Glove save Borgiel. Merrimack wins the shootout.

Crasa up for UML. If Borgiel stops this, Merrimack wins.

Matt Copponi up for Merrimack. If he scores, Merrimack wins.

End of OT: Going to a shootout.

Not much happening (per usual) in this 3-on-3.

Mike McMahon's avatar

End of 3: Lowell and Merrimack 1-1.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Timeout Lowell after an icing.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Copponi back out now.

Mike McMahon's avatar

He's back on the bench now.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Right after the goal Copponi went straight downthe tunnel to the room. Not sure if that was injury or an equipment issue.

Excellent play by Matt Copponi. He had Citara on a 2-on-1 but recognized that Citara was a little behind him coming out of the box. He shot the puck low, far pad, and the rebound went right to Citara. Excellent ready by Copponi and nice finish from Citara.

Not the time to take a penalty ... down 1-0 with 5:30 left.

Lowell to the PP. Too many men on Merrimack. I believe the linesman called it.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Another chance for Merrimack on a 2-on-1. They've had a few of those. None converted yet.

13:53 left. Still 1-0 Lowell. Merrimack has had some good opportunities during the game but not many second chances.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Puck came out from behind the net and he snuck it inside the post.

LOWELL GOAL: UML takes a 1-0 lead just 0:24 into the 3rd period. Rheaume scored right on top of the crease.

Third period underway

Mike McMahon's avatar

Some chances for Lowell on this PP but Borgiel (and Felton) with big saves

Mike McMahon's avatar

Huge save by Welsh on Sacco. Great chance for the Warriors on a 2-on-0. Bono to Sacco.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Not a ton happening here. And few whistles. Already 11 minutes gone in the second period.

Mike McMahon's avatar

More up-and-down chances, but i'd say Lowell has had the better of the play. Chances probably even. Lowell has had more possession.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Merrimack and Lowell underway in the 2nd period.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Merrimack men's basketball down 33-29 at the half against Ohio State.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Lowell to the PP with Borgiel called for a trip.

Mike McMahon's avatar

A few more quality chances for the Warriors. Merrimack's chances seem to come in spurts thus far.

Mike McMahon's avatar

6:47 left in the 1st period, still 0-0.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Merrimack generating some good chances early. Tyler Young with a big bid on the rush. Just now they had some of their best possession of the game with multiple scoring chances. Lowell controlled the first 4-5 minutes.

Merrimack and Lowell are underway.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Merrimack is breaking with the rotation. Zachary Borgiel will start for the Warriors.

This game isn’t listed on Stretch. Do you know how to stream it international ?

Mike McMahon's avatar

I'm not sure. I'll ask. I think NESN streams through its own website?

Mike McMahon's avatar

Actually - it says it's on Stretch as well. Is it not showing up?

Judy's avatar

Im logged on and the next live event says November 16.

Mike McMahon's avatar

Well - I think this game was originally 11/16 at one point. Someone is looking into it now. Not sure if that's an MC issue or a Stretch issue.

Judy's avatar

Thank you the game on 16th is providence vs mass. Nothing for Merrimack

Mike McMahon's avatar

Welcome inside Lawler Arena. Merrimack and UML will get underway in about 50 minutes. Warmups start in 12 minutes. Tonight's game is broadcast on NESN locally and nationally.
