LOWELL — From the drop of the opening faceoff, something felt off for the Merrimack men’s hockey team. The Warriors were forced to play catch up all night after Lowell scored one minute into the game, and ultimately UMass Lowell ran away from them and into the Hockey East semifinals with a 7-2 victory at the Tsongas Center.
I want to congratulate the mens program for a wonderful season and exciting. I am proud as an alumni of the school and supporter of the program (myself from coach Ron Anderson days :-) ).
Mike as always your detailed pre and post game coverage all season was and is second to none. As you noted in the recap the team has made huge steps forward in pursuit of advancing the program and the school on many levels. I no doubt expect the team to continue to prosper and grow in the years ahead. Go warriors....
