Pregame: Bookman out for Merrimack at Northeastern
BOSTON — Merrimack travels to Northeastern tonight without defenseman Zach Bookman in the lineup for the first time this season. Bookman suffered a lower-body injury in Tuesday night’s game against Brown. Bookman entered tonight’s game tied for the team lead in points with fellow defenseman Seamus Powell.
While Bookman is out, the Warriors have some good news: Ivan Zivlak, who was a late scratch on Tuesday night due to illness, will return. Nathan King will play as the seventh defenseman.
In other lineup news, Harrison Roy and Michael Emerson switch places on the line chart. It appeared that change was made mid-game on Tuesday night, with Roy centering Nick Pierre and Caden Cranston, while Emerson moved to the right-wing side of Caelan Fitzpatrick and Ty Daneault.
Max Lundgren is expected to start in goal for the Warriors.
